This is the chronological line of the diamond since it was received by Queen Isabel de Farnesio in 1714:

  1. In 1714 Queen Isabel de Farnesio when marrying Felipe V receives this diamond from the Philippines as a wedding gift.
  2. The diamond is inherited by the count of Villafranca, great-grandson of Felipe V and Isabel de Farnesio, who dies in 1883.
  3. The next monarch to own the jewel is the Duke of Parma, grandson of the Count of Villafranca who has it until his death in 1907.
  4. The next heir was his son Elías de Borbón (1880-1959), who married María Ana de Habsburgo.
  5. Of the 8 children of this marriage between different houses of European royalty, only the infant Alicia, Duchess of Calabria (1918-2017), had the jewel in her possession.
  6. And already in 2018 the offspring of the Duchess of Calabria, her children and grandchildren, have auctioned the jewel that has been bought by an anonymous person as we mentioned before.

Ultimately, a jewel with more than 3 centuries old who has traveled half the world and has lived very important times and milestones in our history, such as the Spanish War of Succession (1701-1713).
