Metal sculpture representing a dwarf supporting the globe of the world, like an Atlas of Greek mythology. Inside the ball, Half Fusse pocket watch, lepine. England, late 19th century. The box, in metal, is the ball of the world that falls. White porcelain dial with Roman numerals for the hours, lines for the minutes, lance-type hands and a second at six. Time setting by key in center of needles. Mechanical movement mechanism, double plate, Half Fusee (semi-metallic), numbered 4642, bimetallic balance wheel, split and compensated. Rope by key, attached, on silver chain. Contains protective cap with keyhole for rope. Size: 52mm. diameter of the sphere. Height: 15 cm. Base: 12 cm. diameter. Weight: 565 gr. In state of march.
