Pocket watch, saboneta. Swiss manufacturing, made by BILLODES for the Turkish market. 19th century. Silver case and dust cover with various dies and logos, including those of the manufacturer, with nº 2770996-1468. Outer covers with fine Guilloché and gusset reserved for initials. Dust cover with two keyholes for rope and time setting, Silver chain key is attached to set time and rope. White porcelain dial with dealer's name K. Serkisoff and company (Constantinople). Numbers and letters in Ottoman language, seconds dial at 6 o'clock. ½-plate, 5-bridge Swiss machinery, with excellent assembly of hard stones. Free lever escapement, spiral and normal regulation, balanced and split bimetallic balance. Signed machinery, BILLODES. Size: 48 mm and 63 mm with ring. Weight: 74 gr. The status of the watches is: "In working order", however, it is possible that someone may require a cleaning service at reception, due to their age.
