Swiss pocket watch, saboneta. Made by PAUL JEANNOT, GENEVE, Switzerland, ca. 1890. Sterling Silver box. Exterior lids decorated with guilloché. Front with reserve of initials available. Back with punched star. Smooth interiors with number 8842. Dust cover engraved PATENT LEVER and with keyholes for winding and time setting. Key on silver chain is attached for both functions. Two-tone dial in gold and silver, beautifully decorated with floral motifs, with Roman numerals for the hours, lines for the minutes, spear-type hands and a seconds hand at six o'clock. Golden perimeter with vegetal scrolls. Mechanical movement machinery, Swiss bridges, the first lever-free escapements, compensated balance, Breguet hairspring. Signed Jeannot a Geneve.
