Pocket watch for men, saboneta. 18k Gold case and dust cover. Die cut. With London punches, from the year 1841. Numbered with 1992 and signed by the typesetter WF. Dust cover with two keyholes for rope and time setting. Silver-gilt chain keys are attached for both functions. Outer covers decorated with guilloché and front cover with gusset for initials available. Manufactured by John Davies, Chester, England (Reference Brian Loomes, pg. 58). White porcelain dial, with Roman numerals for the hours, lines for the minutes, Breguet-type hands and a seconds dial at six o'clock. Folding mechanism with mechanical movement, double plate, with free lever escapement, bimetallic flywheel, split and compensated. Signed John Davies, Chester, and numbered 1992. Size: 45,7mm. diameter and 63,3 mm. with ring. Weight: 72 gr. In state of march.
