Gillet L'ainé (Clermont, France). Pocket watch, gentleman, lepine, repetition with quarter and hour chime on demand. France, 1.820. 18k Gold case and dust cover. Die cut. Dust cover with two keyholes for rope and time setting. Silver chain key is attached for both functions. Two-color gold dial, with central guilloché, Roman numerals for the hours, lines for the minutes and lance hands. It is a typical French machine, from the year 1820, of repetition. Cylinder machinery. With sliding stop button at 1 o'clock, and demand for repeating hours and quarters, pressing the central pivot (ring). Diameter: 51 mm and 73 mm with ring. Weight: 75 gr.
