Box and double protective box in 925 Sterling Silver. Plain boxes with London dies from 1851, No. 28358 and JB and WW typesetter. Back cover with keyhole for rope.
White porcelain dial, Roman numerals for the hours, lines for the minutes, lance-type hands and hour setting on the center-hands. A silver chain key is attached to set the time and rope. Attached is a fob with oval links, in silver of the time, with 37 cm long and 14 gr. of weight.
Mechanical movement machinery, with escapement to reencounter paddles and wheel, (Verge Fuseé or Catalino), normal steering wheel. Machinery, with engraved plate. Signed Darvey & Sons, Lewes and No. 28358.
Size: 64 mm and 77 mm with ring.
